In January-March, Azerbaijan imported 5,438 tons of coal (anthracite, bituminous, and others) worth $1.1 million.
This is 2.3 times and 84% more, respectively, than in the same period in 2025.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 4,883 tons of coal from Russia (up 2.1-fold) worth $933,000 (+65%), 490 tons from Kazakhstan worth $61,200 (there were no deliveries a year ago), and 28.1 tons from Turkey (up 9-fold) worth $27,400 (up 3.4-fold).
After two years and eight months, Azerbaijan resumed coal supplies from India (35.7 tons worth $29,420).
In 2025, 93.7% of the 21,709 tons of coal imported to Azerbaijan came from Russia. (Report)
