The output of Uzbekistan’s metallurgical industry in January-November 2025 exceeded 206 trillion sums.
According to the State Committee on Statistics, enterprises in the sector produced goods worth 206.9 trillion sums, representing a 1.5% increase compared to the same period in 2024.
The largest contribution came from Navoi region, where metallurgical production reached 118.8 trillion sums. Significant volumes were also recorded in Tashkent region – 57.6 trillion sums, and in the city of Tashkent – 20.8 trillion sums.
In Samarkand region, production totaled 6.1 trillion sums, while Namangan region reported 1.1 trillion sums. In other regions, output was measured in hundreds of billions of sums. Sirdarya region produced 937.4 billion sums, Ferghana region – 340 billion sums, Jizzakh region – 300.2 billion sums, Surkhandarya region – 283.3 billion sums, the Republic of Karakalpakstan – 204.1 billion sums, Bukhara region – 190.6 billion sums, and Andijan region – 128.8 billion sums.
More modest production volumes were recorded in Khorezm region – 63.5 billion sums, and Kashkadarya region – 36.9 billion sums. (UzDaily)
