Interpipe has been for the first time approved as the supplier of pipes for the manufacture of drilling equipment. Having successfully fulfilled an order of a French customer, the company is expanding its product range.
According to Interpipe, the company shipped a trail batch of linear pipes made according to European standards. The pipes were successfully processed at the customer’s manufacturing site, where they would be used for prospecting, in particular, drilling shafts looking for gold and copper deposits.
“The customer indicated strict specifications, which we followed. Chemical composition and mechanical characteristics also passed all tests,” the company special pipes sales manager Yuri Ilyuschenko said.
Interpipe is already operating on the market of pipes for hydraulic systems, bearings and common machine-building. Being approved as the supplier for drilling works opens up new possibilities for diversification of products and entering new markets. (Ukrainian metal)
