Verkhovna Rada has approved a bill on prohibition of liquidation of state enterprises in the sphere of energy by imposing a moratorium on their bankruptcy.
According to the MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak, the bill was supported by 251 peoples’ deputies.
“The document aims to prevent liquidation of state coal-extracting enterprises and the state enterprise Skhidniy Mining and Processing Works by way of extending the moratorium on their bankruptcy till January 1, 2026,” the accompanying note says. (Ukrainian metal)
