Mines are being shut down on the temporarily occupied territories of Lugansk region, which affects operation of the heating infrastructure.
“Due to the lack of “A” grade coal, the thermal power plant in the town of Schastya had to switch to gas during the current autumn-winter season. The decision was approved by the Russian ministry of energy. The liquidation of mines has resulted in fuel being supplied mostly from Russia. But transportation expenses make it economically inefficient,” the Lugansk Regional Military Administration press service reports.
At the same time, occupiers continue destroying coal industry of Luganks region – they have named another 6 mines hopeless, which leads to their liquidation. (Ukrainian metal)
