Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov has visited metallurgical enterprise of Astana.
The head of the government checked the process of fulfillment of the President’s instructions on diversification of economy and implementation of investment projects.
In particular, he visited the LLP Tau-Ken Altyn gold refinery specializing in purification of gold from other metals, substances and alloys.
Since its launch, the plant has already produced 336.7 tons of purified gold and 64.2 tons of silver.
Its yearly capacity is 25 tons of gold and 50 tons of silver.
According to Director Ainur Aidarkhanov, the plant actively introduces ESG principles by reducing electricity, water and heat consumption, as well as develops processing of catalysts and wastes, which allows to expand the raw materials base and enhance its positions on the market. (Kazinform)
