Development of Urmezan-3 coal deposit has begun in Batken district of Batken region, the press service of Kyrgyzkomur state enterprise reports.
The cost of the project is $3 million.
The state company is engaged in coal mining in order to provide the region’s population with low-cost coal.
At least 26 people are employed at the deposit. Its area is 5 hectares. (24.kg)
