Uzbekistan: gold sales down in May 2024

In May, central banks globally bought 23 tons of gold and sold 12 tons.

Kazakhstan was the biggest seller, offloading 11 tons.

Poland led buyers with 10 tons, followed by Turkey with 6 tons and India with 4 tons.

Uzbekistan’s central bank didn’t sell any gold in May after selling 1 ton in April. Thus, Uzbekistan’s total gold sales in the past two months amounted to 1 ton. (Uzreport)
