In January-June, Interpipe produced 43.5 thousand tons of railroad wheels.
According to the railroad division director Olexander Garkaviy, 11 thousand of wheel pairs and 2.2 thousand tons of axles were manufactured.
“These products are shipped to customers and not used by us. This output considerably exceeds last year’s level,” he said.
If the trend persists until the end of the year, the company will be able to supply 20 thousand wheel pairs (40 thousand wheels) to the European market. Under other contracts, around 105 thousand wheels will be sold. (Ukrainian metal)
