The United States has prolonged the temporary suspension of duties on Ukrainian steel for another year.
In 2023, Ukrainian steel accounted for less than 1% of all US steel imports. Last year, imports decreased compared with 2022 and were below even than the average imports in 2021.
According to the first vice prime minister, minister of economy Yuliya Sviridenko, the decision includes suspension of tariffs for steel wares from Ukraine that are further processed in EU countries. (Ukrainian metal)
