Ukraine: coal sales endangered by energy sector shelling

In case shelling of energy objects continues, state and private mines will face the problem of overstocked warehouses, as they will nowhere to sell coal to.

According to the vice-president on energy issues of the Ukrainian National Committee of the International Chamber of Commerce Olexander Trokhymets, the occupiers have destroyed or taken almost all thermal power plants. All the state generation of Centrenergo has been occupied (Vugledar TPP) or destroyed (Zmiyiv and Trypilska TPPs). 80% of DTEK generation has been destroyed in missile attacks. As a result, Ukrainian mines have lost customers.
