In January, Zabaikalskiy region transported 1.7 million tons of cargo via railroad, up by 16.1% YoY.
In particular, coal transportation increased by 9.9%, to 1.06 million tons, iron and manganese ore – 1.6-fold, to 345.4 thousand tons, non-ferrous ore – by 45.7%, to 42.6 thousand tons, and ferrous scrap – by 16.6%, to 6.3 thousand tons.
At the same time, transportation of metal wares fell by 33.4%, to 2.6 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
