In January-October, Ukraine decreased pig iron exports by 3.2% YoY, to 1.113 million tons.
According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports dropped by 26.3%, to $423.414 million.
The main customer was Poland (56.2% in monetary terms) followed by Spain (22.64%) and USA (6.24%).
In 9 months, Ukraine imported 79 tons of pig iron valued at $132 thousand from Germany (50.38%) and Brazil (49.62%), with $1 thousand in October. Last year, imports amounted to 16 tons for $29 thousand from Germany. (Ukrainian metal)
