Almalyk Mining and Processing Works has implemented a new technique to produce ferromolybdenum.

Ferromolybdenum powder is made on the basis of processing molybdenum-containing wastes originating when producing molybdenum.

Ferromolybdenum is an alloy containing 50-70% of molybdenum.

The company has launched the manufacture of 2 thousand kg of ferromolybdenum per month. So far, 5500 kg has been shipped to the Navoi Mining and Processing Works.

Until 2025, Almalyk intends to produce 170 billion soums worth of ferromolybdenum. (Ukrainian metal)
