In January-March, Ukraine decreased exports of iron ore and concentrate to the European Union by 9.4% YoY, to 3.66 million tons.

In monetary terms exports decreased by 16.5%, to EUR 412.71 million.

The Czech Republic bought 1.17 million tons (+7%), Poland – 1.08 million tons (+11.9%), Slovakia – 1.32 million tons (+14.7%) and Hungary – 54.19 thousand tons (-78.1%).

In March, exports increased by 42.4% MoM, to 1.52 million tons, but dropped by 3.1% YoY. Revenue totaled EUR 177.26 million, down by 17.5% YoY, but up by 57.1% MoM.

The Czech Republic bought 458.16 thousand tons, up by 81.3% MoM and by 13.7% YoY, Poland bought 437.6 thousand tons, up by 18.6% MoM and by 28.9% YoY, and Slovakia – 550.94 thousand tons, up by 32.2% MoM, but down by 6.3% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
