ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih has started capital repairs of the blast furnace No. 6 air heater.
The main task is to restore refractory lining of the heater and its main units.
Thus, around 3.9 thousand tons of new refractory lining will be placed.
The diameter of each of the four BF6 air heaters is almost 9 meters and their height is 49.3 meters.
The repair will be carried out within 210 days. (Ukrainian metal)
