At the International conference on the restoration of Ukraine in Lugano, Interpipe together with other Ukrainian and international businesses discussed the issues of food and energy security, after-war restoration of economy and future investments.
The director of the railroad division Alexander Garkaviy raised one of the most pressing issues for Ukrainian exporters – logistics.
“The destroyed traditional logistics is the main challenge for Ukrainian economy now. Under the blockade of Black Sea ports the industry is suffocating. The available infrastructure, which is daily destroyed by the enemy, cannot cope with the volumes,” he said.
At the same time he is sure that in the future the construction of a modern railroad infrastructure between Ukraine and EU should become a separate investment direction. (Ukrainian metal)
