After a forced period of idleness in March, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih is preparing the blast furnace No. 6 for operation.
“If the military situation is not aggravated and there are no threats to raw materials and energy carriers deliveries, the blast furnace will be launched in April,” the company said.
An independent energy island in the infrastructure and communication system will be created for its operation.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine protect us from the enemy attacks, and our task is to keep jobs, protect our plant and return it to full life as soon as possible,” AMKR CEO Mauro Longobardo has said. (Ukrainian metal)
