Russia: Chukotka gold and silver output down in January 2022
In January, Chukotka Autonomous District produced 1.399 kg of gold and 6.48 tons of silver, down by 10% and by 19% YoY respectively. Only ore precious metals are being extracted now. 5 companies operate at the site. In 2021, Chukotka increased gold output by 4% YoY, to 25.32 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
