In 2021, Ukraine increased exports of ferrous metals by 81.4% YoY, to $13.95 billion.
According to the State Statistics Service, ferrous metals accounted for 20.5% of all export revenue last year.
Export of ferrous metal wares, including pipes, metal structures, wire, etc., grew by 47.3%, to $1.29 billion (1.9% of all exports).
At the same time, imports grew by 48.8%, to $1.55 billion, or 2.1% of all imports. Metal wares purchases increased by 37.3%, to $1.12 billion (1.5%). (Ukrainian metal)
