The State Environment Inspection has initiated an unscheduled check of Central Mining and Processing Works, a part of Metinvest.
The reason is the discharge of mine waters into the Balka Svistunova pond in Kriviy Rih.
The inspection will be carried out under the order of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denis Shmyhal.
