The second ferroalloy plant has been launched in Karaganda in two years.

The Saryarkinskiy Ferroalloy Plant of Qaz Carbon has been constructed in just 9 months.

The company investments from own funds amounted to 11 billion tenge, and the loan from the Kazakhstan Development Bank was 38.8 billion tenge.

The capacity of the plant is 57 thousand tons of ferroalloys per year. It will have 8 furnaces and will be able to produce 25 tons of ferroalloys per day.

At the first stage, 4 furnaces have been commissioned, with the rest to be put into operation until the end of the year.

Over 300 jobs have been created. (Ukrainian metal)
