In January-October, Ukraine exported 503.496 thousand tons of ferrous scrap, up 15.6-fold YoY, with 48.098 thousand tons exported in October (32.374 thousand tons last October).

According to the State Customs Service, in monetary terms exports grew 24.5-fold, to $195.742 million.

Imports in 10 months went up by 30%, to 19.761 thousand tons valued at $37.444 million, up 2.2-fold.

The main suppliers were Turkey (61.4% in monetary terms), Russia (31.96%) and Poland (1.77%), while the main customers – Turkey (83.87%), Romania (8.13%) and Poland (3.83%). (Ukrainian metal)
