The Ukrainian Association of Ferroalloys Manufactures asks the authorities to impose a special duty on the import of ferroalloys from Russia.
At present the duty for Russia is zero, while the country has a duty of 5% on almost all Ukrainian ferroalloys.
Under such conditions, local ferroalloy manufacturers are unable to compete.
The association believes that the imposition of mirror measures will improve competitiveness of Ukrainian goods. (Ukrainian metal)
