In January-August, Russia produced 215.07 tons of gold, up by 0.22% YoY.
The output of extracted gold dropped by 1%, to 182.62 tons, and auxiliary gold – by 6%, to 10.61 tons, while that of secondary gold grew by 14%, to 21.84 tons.
In August, gold production totaled 41.08 tons, up by 7% YoY, with extracted gold up by 8%, to 36.74 tons.
Silver output in 8 months increased by 2.55%, to 610.14 tons, including 270.64 tons of extracted silver (-5%), 190.5 tons of auxiliary silver (-13.77%) and 149 tons of secondary silver (up 1.7-fold). (Ukrainian metal)
