In May, Ukraine exported 53.5 thousand tons of pipes, up by 37.3% YoY, valued at $60.8 million, up by 45.6%.
According to the State Customs Service, in 5 months exports grew by 8.7%, to 208.6 thousand tons valued at $239.1 million, up by 5.8%.
Seamless pipes accounted for 146.7 thousand tons at $187.6 million and other pipes and tubes – 59.8 thousand tons at $47.9 million.
The main buyers of seamless pipes were Germany, Italy and the USA, while Poland bought almost a half of other pipes and tubes. (Ukrainian metal)
