Russia: gold output down in Q1 2021

In January-March, Russia produced 46.85 tons of gold, down by 2.58% YoY.

Auxiliary gold output dropped by 12.16%, to 3.8 tons, gold extracted from scrap and waste – by 12.14%, to 7.36 tons, and gold in concentrate – by 27.1%, to 2.96 tons.

Polyus yielded 18.4 tons of gold.

Mangazeya Mining increased output by 452%, to 420 kg.

Petropavlovsk decreased gold manufacture by 48.7%. (Ukrainian metal)
