In April, Interpipe shipped the first batch of new wheels to Deutsche Bahn.
The ET 442 wheels have a diameter of 840 mm.
“The ET 442 wheels are a complex product. Before making the batch, we certified the new structure according to TSI and European standards. Deutsche Bahn was satisfied with the results of the control and would use our products to repair and replace its wheels”, Interpipe railroad products director Aleksander Garkaviy has said.
