Ukraine: metal companies’ energy resources consumption up in January-April 2021
In January-April, metal companies consumed around 650 million cubic meters of natural gas, up by 8.3% YoY. Electricity consumption grew by 3.9%, to 3.76 billion kW-h. In 4 months, Ukraine produced 7.14 million tons of steel (+7.2%), 7.07 million tons of pig iron (+9%) and 6.39 million tons of rolled metal (+7%). (Ukrainian metal)
