In August, seaports increased ore export transportation by 32.5% YoY, to 2.9 million tons.
Ferrous metals exports grew by 26.7%, to 1.2 million tons.
According to the Administration of the Seaports of Ukraine, in January-August, ore exports increased by 42.2% YoY, to 23.2 million tons, and ferrous metals – by 5.6%, to 10.4 million tons.
Pig iron throughput went up by 36.2%, to 2 million tons, and rolled metal – by 4.3%, to 6.1 million tons.
Scrap transshipment fell by 31.6%, to 19.1 thousand tons, and other ferrous metals cargo – by 9%, to 2.2 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
