YASNO has finished energy-servicing contract at the Central Mining and Processing Works 9 months earlier and transferred energy-saving equipment to the customer.

12 frequency converters, assembled at the ore-processing factory, have decreased energy consumption by 48.4%.

In three years of operation this amounted to 9.2 million kW-h of electricity valued at 6.7 million UAH.

The energy-servicing contract was signed in December 2016. The converters started operating in April 2017.

So far, YASNO Efficiency has carried out 6 energy-servicing projects at CGOK: three to modernize lighting and three to assemble frequency regulators at pumps. As a result of these measures, the company can now save 13.8 million kW-h valued at 28 million UAH per year, while CO2 emissions have decreased by 12.3 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
