In 2019 Metinvest enterprises mastered the manufacture of 53 new product types and earned $15 million.
Azovstal is the leader among them, followed by Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works and Zaporizhstal.
In particular, Mariupol Ilyich started producing 8 new types of slabs.
The company has also mastered the manufacture of products with new chemical compositions and according to new standards. Thus, last year Metinvest started producing plates according to GOST R 52927-2015 and GOST 27772-2015. 8 steel grades were developed according to the new standards – 4 to each.
GOST 27772-2015 replaced an outdated standard of 1988. (Ukrainian metal)
