According to Russian Railroads, in February 99.4 million tons of cargo were transported, down by 0.6% YoY.
In January-February, transportation dropped by 2.8%, to 199.6 million tons.
In particular, iron and manganese ores accounted for 19.7 million tons, up by 2.8%.
Transportation of ferrous metals dropped by 4.9%, to 12.1 million tons, but scrap grew by 30.5%, to 1.8 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
