Kopy Goldfield AB (Sweden) has two ways to develop the Krasnoye deposit in Irkutsk region.
The first is the combined development. At first a processing factory with the capacity of 1 million tons of ore per year and an open quarry at the Krasniy site will be constructed. After that a mine will be constructed. Capital expenses are estimated at $149 million.
The second way is to develop the deposit via an open-pit. A processing factory with a capacity of 3 million tons per year will have to be constructed. Investments will amount to $250 million.
In 2018, Kopy Goldfield increased Krasnoye resources by 32%, to 1.832 million ounces of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
