In 2019 Sakhalin increased coal output by 10.2% YoY, to 11.9 million tons.
The annual target – 11.4 million tons – was exceeded by 4.2%.
The Eastern Mining Company LLC provided the most coal volumes – 10 million tons.
Sales outside the region totaled 11.5 million tons, including 126 thousand tons to the other Russian regions.
11.4 million tons were exported, including 5.2 million tons to China and 4.4 million tons to Korea. (Ukrainian metal)
