In 2019 Ukraine exported $14 billion worth of metal and mining products.
It is expected, that last year Ukraine exported some 14.7 million tons of rolled metal valued at $7.2 billion. In 2018, 14.4 million tons were exported at $7.8 billion.
The share of exports in the total output was 82% in 2019 and 78.5% in 2018.
Last year the share of export grew because of the fall of the domestic market by 12%. In 2018 the domestic market accounted for 5.3 million tons, and in 2019 – 4.7 million tons. Imports dropped by 2.8% only – from 1.44 million tons in 2018 to 1.4 million tons in 2019. (Ukrainian metal)
