In 2019, Ukraine exported 39.9 million tons of iron ore and concentrates valued at $3.398 billion, up by 8.1% and by 18.5% YoY respectively.

According to the State Tax Service, 34.3% of ore were sold to China, 12.7% – to Poland and 10.3% to the Czech Republic.

Imports totaled 14.245 thousand tons valued at $1.412 million. The main supplier was Russia (90.86%). It was followed by the Netherlands (5.95%) and UK (2.34%). (Ukrainian metal)
