According to the decree of the president on the further expansion of cooperation with Japan, the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Works in 2023-2030 will supply uranium valued at over $1.14 billion to Japan.
The company is the only manufacturer of uranium in Uzbekistan.
Its exports amount to 90%. The main customers are Japan, USA, India, China and South Korea.
Uranium worth $510.1 million will be supplied to Itochu and $636.4 million – to Marubeni. (Ukrainian metal)
