Lebedinsky GOK is carrying out a major project to reconstruct gas-purification system.
Instead of scrubbers the company starts using electric filters. This is considered the most efficient method of gas purification by the company.
The first filter was assembled in December 2018.
At present another filter is being constructed at the charge preparation site to purify smoke gases of the drying cylinder and ball mill.
The filter will be commissioned in December.
The efficiency of gas purification has reached 99%.
Next year another filter will be constructed. (Ukrainian metal)
