In January-September ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih capital expenses exceeded $282 million.
Until the end of the year the investments are expected to reach $390 million.
This year the company has finished the reconstruction of its small-section mill No. 250-4 having invested over $50 million.
The new continuous casting machine No. 3 is undergoing hot tests, and the machine No. 2 construction is nearing its end. Combined investments totaled $144 million.
The reconstruction of the sinter shop No. 2 is underway: three out of six sintering machines have already been reconstructed. The project is estimated at $170 million. (Ukrainian metal)
