NLMK has celebrated 85 years of obtaining its first pig iron.
The celebration was marked by manufacture at the Rossiyanka blast furnace.
“On November 7, 1934 the first blast furnace of the future Russian metallurgy giant produced its first 64 tons of pig iron”, NLMK managing director Vyacheslav Vorotnikov declared. (Ukrainian metal)
