In August Russia exported 25.9 thousand tons of zinc ore and concentrate, up by 53.4% MoM, but down by 30.5% YoY.
Deliveries to China grew by 60%, to 20.1 thousand tons, and to Kazakhstan – from 4.3 to 5.8 thousand tons.
In January-August exports totaled 164.9 thousand tons, down by 26% YoY.
In monetary terms since the start of the year the exports have decreased by 41.2%.
Export prices in August dropped by 7%, to $705 per ton. (Ukrainian metal)
