In January-September Metinvest increased steel output by 6% YoY, to 5.905 million tons.
The manufacture grew due to the increased output at Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works by 399 thousand tons.
At the same time Azovstal decreased steel production by 91 thousand tons.
In Q3 manufacture remained unchanged QoQ at 1982 thousand tons, as Mariupol Ilyich increased output by 54 thousand tons, but Azovstal decreased by the same amount.
In 9 months pig iron manufacture dropped by 3%, to 6041 thousand tons, with Azovstal output down by 302 thousand tons, but Mariupol Ilyich up by 109 thousand tons.
In Q3 pig iron production decreased by 1% QoQ, to 2033 thousand tons. Azovstal produced 13 thousand tons less and Mariupol Ilyich – 5 thousand tons less. (Ukrainian metal)
