In July-September Norilsk Nickel increased nickel output by 7% QoQ, to 57 thousand tons.
In 9 months output grew by 6%, to 167 thousand tons.
The volume of nickel produced of the company own raw materials went up by 6%, to 164 thousand tons.
Copper output in Q3 dropped by 3% QoQ, to 121 thousand tons, but grew by 6% YoY, to 372 thousand tons, in January-September.
Palladium manufacture in July-September amounted to 720 thousand ounces, down by 6% QoQ, and platinum – 164 thousand ounces, down by 11%.
In 9 months palladium and platinum output totaled 2253 thousand ounces and 553 thousand ounces, up by 7% and by 8% YoY respectively.
The forecast for this year remains unchanged: 220-225 thousand tons of nickel, 4350-450 thousand tons of copper, 2.77-2.8 million ounces of palladium and 646-670 thousand ounces of platinum.
Bystrinskiy GOK is expected to produce 40-46 thousand tons of copper and 192-212 thousand ounces of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
