In January-September Mechel received 4.58 billion rubles of net profit as opposed to a net loss of 11.484 billion rubles last year.
Revenue grew by 28%, to 12.157 billion rubles.
Gross profit increased by 28.1%, to 12.094 billion rubles, and sales profit – by 31.7%, to 10.888 billion rubles.
Mechel’s fixed liabilities decreased by 11.3%, to 231.421 billion rubles, while short-term liabilities increased 4.5-fold, to 43.463 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
