In January-September Almalyk Iron and Steel Works manufactured $1.4 billion worth of metal products, up by 131.5% YoY.
Cathode copper manufacture grew by 127.2%, metallic zinc – by 122.5%, gold – by 106.5% and silver – by 164.9%.
This year the copper-smelting plant set a new record – 100 thousand tons of cathode copper were produced as of September 16.
Exports grew more than 1.5-fold, to $655 million. (Ukrainian metal)
