Interpipe intends to redirect the sales of pipes, which had to be sold to the state enterprise Ukrgazvydobuvannya, to foreign markets and private Ukrainian gas extractors.
“We are a diversified company in the pipe segment. In Ukraine we sell some 20-25% of pipes. We also have a large share on the American, European and Near East markets, and a small share in Middle Asia. What Ukraine will not consume will be exported to other markets”, the company CEO Faidi Khraibe said.
Moreover, Interpipe plans to increase its local sales to private gas-extracting companies.
“While all other market participants in Ukraine increase drilling volumes, Ukrgazvydobuvannya has other plans. Well, then we’ll be selling to other participants, to private gas extractors”, he added. (Ukrainian metal)
