On October 1 after a major overhaul the concentrate factory of the quarry No. 4 resumed operation at Irshansk Mining and Processing Works.

New Mineral Technologies (Australia) equipment has been installed at the factory – 8 models of various MG-6 spiral separators (68 pieces) and 24 pieces of HG-10. This will allow increasing ilmenite extraction from 55% to 70%.

Investments in the project amounted to 50 million UAH.

The factory started operating in 2005. It was shut down for reconstruction in December 2018.

The factory capacity is 850 thousand cubic meters of titanium ores per year.

Output is 33,253 tons of concentrate. In 2020 the factory will account for 20% of the annual target. (Ukrainian metal)
