In January-August Ukraine increased pipe output by 0.6% YoY, to 738.5 thousand tons.
In August 75.8 thousand tons of pipes were produced.
Ukrtruboprom enterprises decreased output by 1.2%, to 539.2 thousand tons, with 53.7 thousand tons produced in August.
Interpipe NTZ decreased pipe manufacture by 14%, to 170.6 thousand tons, and Trubostal – by 15%, to 1.7 thousand tons.
At the same time Interpipe NMTZ increased output by 4.8%, to 76.8 thousand tons, Interpipe Niko Tube – by 4.7%, to 259.9 thousand tons, and Dneporvsky Pipe Works – by 32.2%, to 15.6 thousand tons.
Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works, not a part of the association, increased pipes output by 31.9%, to 101.8 thousand tons, Centravis – by 12.4%, to 14.5 thousand tons of stainless pipes, while Kominmet decreased by 11.8%, to 97.5 thousand tons.
The share of pipes in Mariupol Ilyich output is below 4%. (Ukrainian metal)
