Chinese ferro-silicon price trends lower on weak demand, adequate supply
Fastmarkets assessed the price for ferro-silicon 75% Si min, in-whs China, at 6,050-6,300 yuan ($847-882) per tonne on Wednesday August 21, down by 1.2% from 6,100-6,400 yuan per tonne one week earlier.
